Reliance Jio effect: Airtel Surprise free data extended by 3 months

Airtel’s previous offering of extra data will now be available for another three months.

If you are an Airtel subscriber this news will make your day slightly better. In April, Airtel announced its ‘Holiday Surprises’ offer where it gave away 30GB of data for three months. This offer was in extension of the previous Surprises offer. Now, the operator has decided to continue offering the freebies taking cue from Reliance Jio.

Airtel announced that it is now extending the extra data surprise by another three months. Under the extended offer, Airtel subscribers will get the extra data for three more billing cycles. All that you need to do is claim the surprise data on My Airtel app after July 1, 2017. Once you activate, you should be able to avail the free data benefits till September 2017.

Following the launch of Reliance Jio’s 4G services, existing operators have come under immense pressure to prevent users from deviating to the rival connection. In a bid to do so, every other week there is a new announcement regarding change in data offerings, low-cost plans, and extension of free offers.

Recently, Airtel announced support for additional regional languages to its Digital Care service. Until now, the service had been available only in Hindi and English. Following the new update, users can access information in 10 other languages. One needs to simply dial *121# from their prepaid number and follow the on-screen guidelines to get information in the language of choice. You can make basic queries such as balance, validity, internet plans, etc related to your prepaid number. As of now, there is support for Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Recently, the telecom operators asked the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to set a minimum ‘floor rate’ for voice and data services. The operators argue that owing to Jio’s free offering the telecom sector is reeling under heavy financial stress and to overcome that, a fixed pricing should be done. Although a formal decision is yet to be arrived at, the proposed system will essentially kill Jio’s free offers and set a minimum base pricing mandatory for operators to follow.

Airtel 399 Offer is similar to Jio offer which is valid for 70 days from the date of recharge. So this plan is valid for prepaid customers all over the country. So i will tell you how to avail ₹399 online recharge benefits.

Airtel 399 Plan Details

Airtel Prepaid 244 Offer|Plan Recharge Details|70GB Prepaid Internet Data

Bharti has recently announced airtel 244 offer which is a internet and calling based plan. This plan is similar to airtel 399 offer but this offer has less benefits. This plan doesn’t give unlimited calls to any network, instead only to airtel. You can call to any number for free in India but make sure its a airtel number.

How To Recharge With Airtel 244 Plan?

Difference Between ₹399 and ₹244 Plan?

As we know there is ₹155 difference between both these plans however everything seems the same. No its not, the 244 plan will only give you local and STD calling only to airtel networks. While ₹399 plan will give you extended calling to all the network including jio, docomo, vodafone, idea etc (simply you can make calls on any network). So i would highly recommend you to recharge according to your necessity. If you want to explore more then check more airtel offers from here.

Beside this, this plan has 70GB internet data usage for whole 70 days validity. This 70GB data is not a 2G or 3G data. This data will only work on 4G enabled handset. So make sure you have a LTE/4G handset and your old airtel sim is upgraded from 3G to 4G before you recharge with this plan.

In addition, 70GB cannot be used at once rather you can use only 1GB per day. After 12:01 AM in the morning the 1GB will refill automatically. So you need to exhaust all internet balance before 11:59 PM other all remaining data will be forfeit.
